The Centennial Park Labyrinth is open!

The Centennial Park Labyrinth is finally open! We had a beautiful opening ceremony on Monday 15th September. It was officially opened by the Governor of NSW, Dame Marie Bashir and blessed by wisdom keepers from 11 different faith traditions. The interfaith walk was accompanied by music written specially for the opening ceremony by Australian composer, Corrina Bonshek . She is very generously offering it as a free download. She says: “This music is my gift to you. Enjoy it while walking the labyrinth or listen at home.” Stream or download here: http://bonmusic.com.au/lab/

  1. Thank you for the gift of music.
I am a meditation teacher in Regional Victoria. My groups are held in the environment of a National Trust garden surrounding a beautiful 100year old historic home on Mount Macedo. We do walking meditations at times and this music will be a wonderful gift for attendees as well.
I would love to see a Labyrinth built in this area and plan on speaking with some locals to get the ball rolling. Meanwhile, I have a son living in Coogee and will be excited to visit the Centennial Park asap. I am hoping to attend the Facilitators course next year. Thank you all again for the sharing. Robyn
